Overview
Managers within your organization
make decisions every day that can have
significant impact on your business.
Those decisions will be as good as the
information they are based on.
Globalization and fast pace of today's
business require accessibility and
flexibility to analyze and share that
information with suppliers, partners,
and customers. Companies today tend to
operate on a number of applications
within an enterprise that were either
purchased departmentally or came along
with an acquisition. Typically they may
operate on different operating systems,
are written in different languages and
utilize different databases. The ability
to access these various data sources,
extract vital business information and
consolidate it so that decisions are
made on a complete situational picture
is critical.
INFINITE BI
INFINITE BI is based on OLAP
technology (on line analytical
processing), a decision support
methodology that allows users to analyze
information summarized into
multidimensional views and hierarchies.
It includes today’s most common BI
requirements incorporated into a single
program – business analysis, dashboards,
balanced scorecards and reporting.
 |
Business analysis tools identify
trends on business information
so the user can drill down
through extensive business
statistics to isolate problems
and opportunities. |
 |
 |
Dashboards serve up real time
business performance indicators
and trends to executives and
managers. |
 |
 |
Balanced scorecards allow
companies to track budgets,
align strategic direction,
measure performance and project
forward in “what if” games. |
 |
 |
Reporting includes the
tools to define and design
reports, schedule distribution
or provide them on demand via
the user’s portal page. |
 |
 |
Security is a critical
consideration when implementing
BI tools. INFINITE BI provides
several layers of granularity.
User roles define access to
menus, forms, and reports. With
record level security access to
specific information in reports
and forms builds can be
restricted. With cell level
security access to individual
cells within a cube can be
restricted. |
INFINITE BI is a highly scalable, browser accessible, complete solution that
is intuitive for both the tech group and
the business user. It is an ideal
solution for companies wishing to
implement business intelligence
functionality with a low cost of
ownership that is both easy to deploy
and easy to maintain.
Business Analysis
INFINITE BI meets a company’s need
for an uncomplicated interactive
multidimensional visualization, analysis
and reporting solution to target
opportunities, track performance, and
increase profits. It has been designed
to import data from enterprise data
sources into a central repository and
provide business intelligence and
decision support. Designated data
sources can be updated in real time when
necessary. With the easy to use browser
interface, the tool allows a skilled
analyst and non-technical users alike to
quickly manipulate and analyze data and
generate reports when they need them
without the need for IT involvement.

revenues, expenses, sales, shipments,
returns, etc. Traffic lights, alerts,
drill-downs, summaries, graphs and
gauges are setup in a portal. Content
can be pre-defined by user group or

allowing the user to drill down within
the data presented.

Balanced Scorecards
Balanced scorecards have been around for
over ten years, but many companies have
not adopted them because they seemed so
complex to implement. By focusing on key
strategic business drivers – financial
performance, customer retention,
employee satisfaction and innovation/new
product development, for example –
companies can gauge performance both
quantitatively and qualitatively. Once
statistical relationship can be
established among various business
activities, executive can play "what-if"
games to understand what effect
strategic initiatives might have on the
business.
