The Company
INFINITE Corporation is a growing leader in Mainframe and Midrange Migration and Modernization services and software. The company is seeking success-oriented technical professionals for its office in Madrid. High achievement individuals will be rewarded with salary, incentives and an opportunity to grow.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated person that enjoys a job that presents daily challenges and variety. The candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team using very strong analytical skills and several years of solid experience of application development and implementation on IBM midrange (AS400, iSeries or S/36) or mainframe machines (S/390, etc).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in both English and Spanish are required. One or more other European languages will definitely be a benefit in this position.

A keen interest to stay abreast of new development technologies in the .NET and JAVA space is a definite requirement. Knowledge of UNIX, Windows and Linux operating environments will be advantageous. Must have knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and Oracle as well as the use of ODBC.

Candidates must have been involved in the delivery of projects either at a large corporation, large consulting firm, a Systems Integrator, etc.

The Job
The position involves working with and implementing all the products within the Infinite Product portfolio. There are several levels of involvement with prospects and customers – demonstrations, technical discussions, engagement projects, custom services, training, support and other activities required to gain a customer and keep them happy. Infinite is offered as a consulting service in which prospect applications are rehosted to the new platform (Windows, UNIX or LINUX) and modernized using the latest technologies integrated with the web enablement tools and business intelligence.
 
Several technologies are being used to achieve the application modernization, integration and Business Intelligence. Such technologies are SOA, Microsoft Development Studio, Java, ASP, Infinite product suite, etc.
 
The position requires frequent travel to meet with customers and fulfill project objectives.
